Our exclusive lines for the aseptic diced tomato filling are suitable both for packaging in 220 litre flexible bags and in briks of various formats for retail.

The line uses peeled tomatoes of a variety suitable for consistency and correct Brix degree when ripe.

Operation

After careful manual sorting and by means of an optical sorter, the peeled fruits are introduced into the dicing cutter, the pieces are then drained on a roller drainer and then mixed with semi-concentrated tomato juice.

The tomato juice must have well-defined pH values, therefore it is checked and possibly automatically corrected to bring it to the required acidity values.

The juice capacity is then measured and adjusted, pasteurised and finally mixed with the diced fruit, which is checked in a continuous weight line.

 

Simple, safe systems that are easy to operate and maintain

The corresponding mixture, in the desired proportions, is stored in a horizontal tank and continuously and delicately stirred to avoid any possible sedimentation respecting the integrity of the product.

A special piston pump, with fully open valves, conveys the product to the aseptic steriliser-cooler after in-line control with a metal detector.

The steriliser consists of several modules with lined tubes connected in series, operating with superheated water and a set of resting tubes, to keep the product at the sterilisation temperature, for a time appropriate to the size of the pieces being processed.

The cooler consists of a set of heat exchangers identical to those of the steriliser but with 180° curves equipped with flanges protected by a steam barrier monitored by Pt100 probes.

Product circuit equipped with aseptic valves for the recycling of the product at low temperature, with special devices to keep the circuit at the correct operating pressure.

The process ends with filling in briks or aseptic bags, by filling head with 2” mouth to respect the integrity of the diced tomato.

AUTOMATION
Controlled by a PLC, they are programmed to carry out the work cycle completely independently.
They are accompanied by process and safety sensors.

The operation is completely automatic and all the phases in the operating cycle are performed without the intervention of the operator.
A digital recorder stores the critical process parameters.

The systems are INDUSTRY 4.0 READY and can be integrated into existing factory management systems.

VERSATILITY
The operating cycle is highly customisable and adaptable to the type of product to be processed.
The programming is entered on the touch screen control panel.

EASY TO USE
The operators are guided by the information that appears on the operator panel.
Each alarm and warning also reports the most common cause and informs the operator of the corrective action to be taken.

SAFETY

Our diced tomato aseptic filling lines are accompanied equipped with process and safety sensors.

All systems are equipped with the necessary safety systems according to the requirements of the European Directive and are CE marked.
